Clutch, oil leak, plus the usual consumables of age.

General Comments:

The S60 is a great car to drive. Incredibly modern feeling despite being 14 years old now.

Mine is the SE model, metallic black exterior with beige leather on the inside, I love being in this car. Very quiet also. All the electrics of its time are here.

2.4 diesel is fast and still does about between 40 - 50 mpg.

Although you can get them for a fair price at this age and they can be economical, be aware they are expensive to fix. I reckon I have been lucky so far to have no major problems considering the age and miles on this S60!

But buy a looked after one and you should be OK. Volvo in the last 15 - 20 years are not like Volvo of the old world - they require attentive maintenance to keep them right. But in return you get a solid, great to drive and lovely car to drive everyday.

Only thing better is an S80!
