2007 Audi A8 Sport Quattro 3.0 TDi from UK and Ireland
Summary:
So far so good
Faults:
Nothing so far, the car has a lot of history, I have only had it one year. Looks to have had the usual maintenance and a lot of money spent keeping it right.
If I am am being really picky, cosmetically there are some marks but it is an older car now. No rust at-least (garaged from new). Sometimes hesitates for a second on acceleration, but that might be my imagination.
General Comments:
Metallic black, stunning looking big car from Audi. The A8 is a sight to behold up close. Amazingly modern and timeless design for its age, looks like any other Audi in the last 15 years.
Inside is where this car shines - leather and electric everything. Faultless levels of comfort. Stunning to ride in - very quiet and smooth.
You don't buy these cars for economy, but it is a diesel, and still not very good on fuel. Around 30 mpg at best. Rubbish these days. I dread to think what the petrol engines must be like!
Bloody fantastic to drive though - goes like a rocket.
Words of advice for first time buyers - yes you can buy these now fairly cheap on the used market, so if you want to know what a top class luxury car feels like for little cash, you can. But please buy only a looked after car and have plenty of spare cash for any disasters! The car's reliability is not in question, but if something goes wrong it will likely be serious and expensive.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
