1992 Buick LeSabre Le Sabre Custom 3.8 SPFI from North America
Summary:
It don't die
Faults:
Although reliable, this car does have its problems,
The lovely GM factory white paint was more or less missing and rusting when I bought it.
I replaced the front brakes once, and the back brakes are due up very soon.
Leaking intake gasket, isn't bad yet, so it can wait.
Carpet terribly worn when purchased, need to order a new one soon.
Replaced computer, Quad driver failed.
The windshield broke.
General Comments:
Although the list of problems, this car won't die, it's a tank.
The acceleration needs some help, don't speed up fast enough, but when it hits a highway, it's a great ride.
No performance parts... everyone sees it as an old man's car... Parts for Bonnevilles are compatible though, they are almost the same car.
Radio is too far away.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

My girlfriend has a 1992 LeSabre. She had to change the modules a couple of years ago. She left the car in the driveway this long weekend and when she went out for smokes she couldn't get her car started. Could it be dirty! Or do they need replacing? Do we check the fuel sending unit?
Any other suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you.
