1993 Cadillac Seville 4.9 port fuel injected V8 from North America
Summary:
In ten years I would buy other!!
Faults:
My VATS ignition was giving me problems, like not starting every time.
General Comments:
This is one fine car, I bought my first 1993 Seville in 1997, and sold it with over 240,000 miles on it in 2007.
I then found my present 1993 Seville one owner beauty, only 87,000 miles for a nice price.
These cars are very well built inside and out. Also are very powerful and comfortable.
This car still looks great and gets compliments daily!!
If you have this problem with your VATS ignition, do not replace it at about $300.00 parts and labor, you can bypass this by wiring in a resistor. I had a locksmith do it for $70.00.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I just bought my first Cadillac. A 1993 Seville Northstar STS. I have to totally agree with the comment on the quietness of the engine. The only way I know when the engine has started is the duel exhaust has that beautiful rumble. As for speed... check often ticket bound. Beautiful red with cream interior. This is the first one that I have every bought. Would I buy another one? You betcha.
