Faults:
The anti-lock brake system died about 1 month after purchase. Since I didn't want to pay $900 for a new EHCU Computer, I've lived with the brake warning light on for the last 4 years (and no ABS).
U-Joints replaced. I've done a fair amount of 4-wheeling in the mountains, so this could likely be considered normal wear and tear.
Front door bushing and pin. At first I thought this was an anomaly when the driver's door bushings wore down and the door wouldn't close properly. However, the passenger's side door is now doing the same thing! A small nuisance, but very hard to fix without special tools.
Currently, I have a small electrical problem that I haven't yet diagnosed. The lights seem to "flutter" on the dash, dome, and headlights. This power fluctuation also causes the blower motor to "squeal."
General Comments:
This vehicle has never had sufficient power. I find myself praying that I can get up to speed when entering an on-ramp for the Interstate.
However, (other than the ABS), the vehicle has been incredibly reliable! Very minor repairs. Starts every time and runs smoothly.
This vehicle is not a luxury ride. The seats are uncomfortable, and when the wind blows, you can feel it through the doors (all four!), but then again, it IS a 4-wheel drive SUV.

I also own a 92 Chevy Blazer, and am experiencing the SAME problems... I am very frustrated I feel like Id pay less in a new car payment then I do owning this outright. Good Luck with your.
