1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 2.4 liter from North America
Summary:
Good buy if you purchase it with high miles (about 100K) and for real cheap
Faults:
I just got the car so nothing has gone wrong with it yet. But I did get it from a family member so they gave me the paper work on everything that has been fixed on it. Some of the repairs include, the water pump, alternator, multifunction switch (blinker, cruise etc.), oxygen censor, and much more.
General Comments:
The car rides like a little "fast and furious" car. I have never had a small car like this, I'm used to my mustang which is much bigger and much faster. Although, this cavalier feels faster off the line. I don't know though because I'm not much of a speed demon or a racer. I do like fast stuff though.
The car seems quite comfortable. I have only had the car for 2 weeks so I'm still feeling it out!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I recently did a fuel pump for a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. Turns out that one can only buy a complete assembly (you cannot buy just the fuel pump itself). So, I disassembled the assembly, and removed the fuel pump. The original part had VDO stamped on it (go figure). Then, I installed an AMERICAN made fuel pump from a different kind of car into the assembly, making very minor modifications to make it fit. It's worked like a charm ever since. partyguard@gmail.com
