I think I did not read these comments before and I am scared now. At 20,000KM I got my rolors shaved due to pusation. Again at 37,000KM the car had pulsation problems while braking.
They have now replaced the brake pads and scraped the rotors again. I am not sure as to what this would do to the life of my rotors. I am scared that this might reoccur again. I wish I had not bought this car.

When I turn steering wheel to right or left makes a sound like baby birds chirping, I got power steering fluid and thought that was the problem, but did not fix it. Does not have baby birds in steering wheel. What could it be???

I have a 2001 Malibu and here are my issues. Whenever I make a turn or tap the brakes it sounds like I'm stepping on soda cans, I took it to dealer, they said it was nothing. OK I'm dealing with it. Now coolant light goes on and I am constantly putting coolant, the light goes out, two days later on again. I was told gaskets need to be replaced. I could not afford the work until my next paycheck, then one day taking my car to get washed, it would not turn over. Fuel pump replaced for third time and now sensors are not letting my car start. I love my Malibu, but I think with all the money I spent on it, I might as well get a new car. Sorry Malibu, it's over.

I have a Chev Malibu 1998. Here is the list of problems so far: short in tail-light damaged tail-light fitting; check engine light comes on and goes off as it pleases dealer can't find whats wrong; vibrations when braking at freeway speeds - new rotors and pads two times now; heater fan speeds 1 and 2 not working - dealer replaced resistor block - now faulty again second time; intake manifold gasket leaking coolant; water pump leaking coolant from seal - needs to be replaced; theft system light comes on when trying to start the engine and then engine will not start for 10 to 15 minutes - dealer can't find whats wrong. Car has 78000 miles on it, always well looked after and cared for, serviced regularly. I have another GM lemon which I won't even go into all the problems I have had with it, suffice to say poor quality materials and workmanship. Q. Will I buy GM again? - A. NEVER.
