I just don't' know to go about doing this. Does anyone know who to call or where to send the bill to??

I have a 1999 Malibu. It works fine, but I think it might be eating to much gas. The cars old (74,000 miles, and... damn none of my cars problems would be fixed cuz its been over 8 years. So my car has too many years to get any free work done to it. That sucks, expecially considering I've only got 74, whatever amount of years on it. O.
Oh well, anyone know what kind of engine air filter it needs, or how much it'll cost.
Anything to improve mpg.
Sometimes I take turns too hard and the gas makes a fast beeping noise, what is that?

How often brakes need changing/checked.
77,000 miles+ does my car need a tune up.. or anything by a mechanic?

Air filters for this car can be purchased at Wal*Mart for under ten dollars. As far as tune-ups go, Chevy states that you don't need to perform a tune up on this car until you reach 100,000 miles (if you keep it that long). You got me on the gas guzzling while going around corners. I don't know how that lessens mpg. Beware of the ABS speed sensors on this car, they are very weak. If you corner really fast, you'll wear them out quicker and your ABS will be disabled (you won't pass safety inspection in many states with your ABS light on). They can cost upwards of $450 dollars for just one.

I have the same problem, rust around the gas tank entrance. They wouldn't fix the problem, since the rust was not going through. Also the brakes get replaced every 20-25K. Luckily I can do them or I would be spending bi bucks each year.
