2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS 3.4 V6 180 HP from North America

Summary:

An elegant and aerodynamic speed demon

Faults:

For the four months that I have owned it, nothing significant has gone wrong with it.

I guess what concerns me most is braking while going 45 mph and over; The brakes make a slight squeaking noise. This is hardly audible.

Maybe I worry too much:)

General Comments:

I really enjoy driving this car. It seems as though people know when you are coming.

This car's interior is really spacious and comfortable.

The horsepower is real good for an LS version.

I love the sleek and aerodynamic design of the exterior!

2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 3.8 V6 from North America

Summary:

A beautiful sporty car that allows the drive to take a bath in.

Faults:

The sunroof leaks. I found a puddle of water 1/2 inch deep on my floor. The ceiling, information center and sun visors were dripping wet after it rained.

General Comments:

The dealer where I brought this car with the leaking sunroof problem was worthless. They couldn't find the problem and instead chose to blame me for leaving the sunroof open.

2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS 3.4 from North America

Summary:

Fast and beautiful!!!

Faults:

I have had no problems at all. I have owned a 1996 a 1999 and now a 2002.ALL have had no real problems. ANYONE that has had problems most likely was abuse or neglect on there part.

General Comments:

OVERALL I believe that GM has the handle on these cars. VERY nicely designed for function and comfort. HAS more power and options then you would expect from higher priced autos.

2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 3.8 V6 from North America

Faults:

The only fault I have with my newly acquired Monte Carlo SS is the simple fact that the fuel pressure regulator was faulty on it.

Since the replacement of the faulty part, I've had no other problems out of it thus far.

General Comments:

The 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS is a true "diamond in the rough".

It combines power, performance, and luxury in a way that one would expect to find behind names such as Lincoln, BMW, or even Mercedes Benz.

Using all 200 horsepower to its full advantage, the 2002 Monte Carlo SS optimizes a fairly large engine to power its hefty 3,495 pound body.

All I can truly say is that this car goes above and beyond any expectations that I have had for it, and that it will someday be a true American classic.

Chevrolet is most certainly still doing some things right!
