He's referring to a faulty EGR issue. Exhaust Gas Recirculation through the intake. Of course all commenters know that. You could disconnect it for drag racing to increase HP if you had it on a hot new car on a track. But this is what he was describing.

Fine.
But what does that have to do with not being able to make left turns on wet pavement?

Another easy one. Defective rack and pinion steering box. Issue showing up on one side. Needs replaced. Next?

Nice try. The comment relates the left turn problem to the "power plant", NOT the steering rack.

That's a vague reply with no solution. Another bet is cleaning the throttle body. The only winner is the owner of the vehicle. Cars and trucks are very complex. We just had a diesel pickup that wouldn't start. In the end we found the A/C locked up. Cut the belt and started right up. Went through all the obvious. If you have a constructive solution or idea to post, it's good to help. Repeating an issue isn't a diagnosis. The guy's concerns are valid and he needs help.

That's a lot of words with no discernible answer. Next indeed.
Anyway, "the guy" doesn't need help anymore, or at least not with this issue. If you read the entire comment, you'd know he no longer had the Blazer after it was stolen.

I like this forum. You do not need to still own a vehicle to still share and learn how to diagnose exact issues. I suspect most of us would like to open up a review and learn quite a bit about a manufacturer year and make we own as well. I tend to skip comments that don't add anything such as saying it doesn't matter as the guy doesn't still have it now. If I have the same make, model and year, I hope to hear various issues with viable solutions. Saving money helps us.

If this specific vehicle stalls during a turn, it's dangerous. Do a MAP cleaning. Maybe someone else that still owns one can benefit.

"exhaust fumes from the carburetor"?
That must be why the "power plant" kept the vehicle from making left turns. On wet pavement.
