1978 Chevrolet Suburban 9 seater 454 from North America
Summary:
The finest of AMERICAN steel to be had!
Faults:
This Suburban I bought from the original owner. It was obviously loved AND used. Apparently it has pulled a 30' airstream trailer through every one of the 48 contiguous United States. The previous owner replaced the 454 at 150,000 miles "just because it was time" he said.
General Comments:
It is utterly amazing that this Suburban has NO rust. The Cardinal Red/Santa Fe Tan paint scheme still shines like new. This vehicle was built to last in 1978. It is still shifting smooth as silk with the original transmission at 208,000 miles. A very large presence on the road, but very easy to navigate. Steers like silk.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Sounds like a beauty... I would love to have one someday.
