I go mudding daily, I cannot get it stuck, and I beat the crap out of it and it still runs good.

One of the all-time best value vehicles
4-wheel lock needed lubrication.
New exhaust system.
New brake pads.
After 25 years of driving, I can honestly say this is the most reliable and cheap vehicle I have ever owned. Purchased the truck already 9 years old with 326M kms on the chassis and 25M kms on rebuilt engine. Just rolled over the 400,000 km mark, and haven't spent more than $1000 on general maintenance and repair costs over the 5 years I've owned it.
Have the bare bones model (nothing power, no A/C), not much comfort, but still lots of fun to drive. Body in great condition, seems very rust-proof.
Has a great deal more zip than the 1999+ models with the 1.6l engine.
All parts are easy to replace & find, lots of room in the engine compartment if you want to do maintenance. Have looked at buying another convertible (BMW/Volvo/Volkswagen) but will probably buy another Tracker, because NOTHING beats the value and reliability of these little buggers.

A very reliable 4x4
Nothing at all.
This is a great car and very reliable. I am a student and this car has been very reliable. The gas tank fills in for $20 Canadian and it runs about 424 kilometres before the next fill. Engine doesn't give any noise either.
