Umm, it’s a Jeep being “towed” by other Jeeps. So, what is the point of the link? Jeeps are coming to the rescue.

He never answers that way. It will be it’s too big. Or the ride. Makes plenty of money, but won’t spend for it. Buy what you like is the real answer. Enjoy it. Life is to enjoy.

Go back and read my post again. Take note of the sentence that reads "The Jeep by far would out perform both".
Why would I need to provide a link showing a RAV-4 or Subaru stuck in a ditch when I actually agreed the Jeep is a better off road vehicle.
Sorry that the video in the comment wasn't realistic enough. You may believe a Jeep is the king of the off-road and that's fine. No problem with that. But don't make it out to be that Jeep would never get stuck and not need to be towed at all.
Think we can move on now.

Nice try, but the comment that you are referring to wasn't written by the review author.

OK, so we can revise the original statement to being, “When a vehicle gets stuck, it will be a Jeep or Jeeps which come to the rescue”. Whether a Jeep is doing the sticking or a lesser vehicle like a Suzuki doesn’t matter. Even in the video, the rescue vehicles were both Jeeps, consistent with this revised claim.

Hummer H3’s I believe were the specific models used to catch on fire and have issues with that. Getting stuck in some sand is the least of Hummer owners’ worries.

A Rubicon is far cooler under 50k. Or go all out; the Texas-based tuner Hennessey is building Hellcat-powered Jeep Gladiators. The Gladiator Maximus will make 1000 horsepower and 933 lb-ft of torque and was to be fully unveiled at the 2019 SEMA show. It will cost $225,000, and that price includes a new 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Who needs mud? Take KTMs on a tow behind trailer and let loose on dry rugged terrain, which requires skill.

Whatever makes you happy. Even if you want to call it a revised claim to the original statement. It even can be Santa Claus's sleigh coming to the rescue for all I care.
17th Feb 2021, 19:16
That sounds like a pretty sweet truck actually. A 1000hp Jeep truck. Imagine that.

You cared enough as usual to write the last word. I care enough to buy. Does not remain stock long with a thousand ways to change and do mods. Start taking it apart as soon as it’s home. Wish we could post pics. Yours and ours.

I don't know about that. Can a Jeep or Hummer fly through the sky and visit millions of homes in one night spreading the Holiday joy like Santa and the one horse open sleigh?

Gemballa’s Porsche 911-Based Off-Roader Will Pack a 750-HP Flat-Six by Ruf
It's inspired by the famous Porsche 959 Paris-Dakar racers from years ago So yet another super off road offering. I doubt Santa’s bringing one. And like the other guy says he doesn’t care. But manufacturers build as there’s obviously demand and buyers in this segment. They will add another vehicle and not have fears they will be living under the bridge. Or act like the sky is falling down. Buy what you like.

What a setup that would be. Why, so you can bash on me? Waste of time. Everything has a price tag on it vs high quality. Both in vehicle choices and quality of life. Drive yours and be happy.

I like the new 911. Wave your hand over the hood and it opens. Cool feature along with multiple function seat settings.

Can Santa’s sleigh go through streams with rushing water or go over boulders? I think not.

Original commentator here. Wow... Just wow...
Look - My wife isn't going to be using anything to go muddin' or anything other than occasionally taking the vehicle to places that have unpaved gravel roads or the occasional snow storm on well-plowed freeways in the mountains. A Jeep is way overkill for these needs. That and in reality, the vehicle will be driven 99% of the time on ordinary flat freeways. The Jeep we rented had really obnoxiously loud tire tread noise. And like I said - it was not a comfortable vehicle.
And lastly? Every Toyota we've ever owned simply just quietly did their jobs for years with nary an issue and for 250-300,000 miles. Jeep does not have a good track record when it comes to reliability. In fact, sadly, the last truly reliable thing Jeep made was the old XJs with the venerable 4.0 inline 6. Those would easily go 500,000 miles. And that brings me to my last point: If you're gonna' do some serious, major off-roading, then why on earth would you go blow 40-50k on a brand new Jeep only to scratch and dent the thing to death? You buy some piece of junk older Jeep XJ or a beater Tacoma or something. Use it, abuse it, and if it gets dents... who cares?

You shouldn't remove cats on a car for the very basic fact that when you do so, you will then be producing the equivalent pollution of 100 cars. Not only is it bad for the environment, but bad for health. You wouldn't throw garbage out your car window would you? Of course not. So why is it OK to start spewing tons of untreated exhaust for the rest of us to breathe? Talk about people who don't care.

You’re kind of speaking out of both sides of your mouth here. New Jeeps are comfortable and reliable. Old Jeeps are not as comfortable and probably not as reliable either (like any old used vehicle). You mention the worst aspects of each as if every Jeep is uncomfortable and unreliable. Not true. Who says you need to scratch up and dent a Jeep whenever it goes off-road? Perfectly possible to have some fun off-road without damaging the vehicle. Sounds like a Jeep may actually be the ideal vehicle for your situation.

Heavy machinery and construction equipment are far worse for the environment than one truck where someone cut off the cat. That would be like saving $4 forgoing a cup of coffee for the day then going to buy a car and spending $10,000 over budget. Focus on big items, not small ones.

How others spend is their business. If they buy a new vehicle every few years with low miles, it’s great for them. Not everything is money like this guy. Fretting out every dollar they spend. If they enjoy the results, why worry or waste energy. Everything could be paid off, combined or a single monthly retired high income for a lifetime. No worries on dents, depreciation, only buying a far superior vehicle. And then pick up another. It’s like buying a boat. You can buy a rowboat with no motor that can last forever. Or a great sports fisherman or go boat to have a blast in. It’s quality of life that is true value. You have all your financial needs already covered. Have fun with a small percentage of your money. Some of our fun with our earnings were educating our kids, helping them towards a home. Not only ourselves clinging onto every cent. Do a lot of travel and enjoy more than sitting on top of a Boulder in a 4x4. Many wives would prefer to go in a clean vehicle going to nice dinners. Than making mud pies out on some forlorn ravine. We want exercise, we hit the gym.

Extremely “helpful“ discussion; this would certainly put me off buying a Jeep ever.
