1995 Chrysler Cirrus LXi 2.5L from North America
Summary:
Worst piece of machinery I've ever encountered
Faults:
First thing that happened was last fall (almost a year ago) my water pump randomly went at about 42,000 miles, taking my timing belt along with it and busted up a few of my valves, thanks to the brilliance of the interference engine. Thank god I had a Chrysler mechanic as a family friend, and he rebuilt my entire engine for me.
Now, today, the car went into limp mode and won't shift out of first. No matter what.
My AC almost never works, the power "seats" are getting slower and slower, and I can almost never reach the pedal. My stupid antenna goes down when it's feeling nice, and stays up when its feeling sassy. The heat also doesn't work anymore.
The limp mode thing has been the final straw. It's got freakin' 57,000 miles on it -- HOW CAN A TRANNY BREAK THAT EARLY ON!
A rebuilt engine? OK.
Trying to fix this stupid tranny problem? No thanks.
All Chrysler Cirrus should be rallied up and simultaneously burned.
General Comments:
I hate it.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

My 1999 Chrysler Cirrus hasn't given me any problems at 80,000 miles. I'd be very unhappy if somebody tried to burn mine.
