2007 Chrysler Sebring Sedan LX 2.4 from North America

Summary:

Great car that has been under-rated

Faults:

The only issue I have had was buying after market wheels that the car's low tire pressure sensor doesn't like. So the dash-light flashes at me once in a while, as if my tires were low, even though they are not.

General Comments:

I have enjoyed this vehicle. Fuel economy once broken in has been around 28-30 mpg. That is driving a combination of in town and on highways.

The ride is comfortable, and has been great for getting me where I need to be. Has a cold A/C, and drives and handles well in the winter. It has great curb appeal, and is nice inside as well.

If I did it over again, I would probably get leather seats, as the cloth is a little more difficult to clean, but have had no problems with any of the other features of the car.

2007 Chrysler Sebring Sedan Touring 3.5 from North America

Summary:

Hope I didn't end up with a lemon

Faults:

When I first got the car, which was brand new, a check light engine was on. Turned out to be a low voltage battery.

Now the transmission won't go out of 1st gear!!! The car has not even a 1000km on it... come on Chrysler!!! Is that what I'm gonna be stuck with for 4 years? A car that's always at the garage for something wrong? I hope not... but the service is good at my dealer. And the car is very comfortable, very well equipped and the engine very powerful, but hard on gas... I know, should have taken a smaller engine... my fault.

General Comments:

Like I said, generally very good looking car, very comfortable, full of a lot of options that are not even offered in Japanese brands, or even American brand cars.

What options are you speaking of - your one speed transmission, perhaps? :)

No they are talking about the heated/cooled cup holders and MyGIG entertainment and the such. Things that Toyota won't offer a few years yet, but will take complete credit for when they finally get around to it... you know, the norm...

2007 Chrysler Sebring Sedan Touring 2-7 V6 from North America

Summary:

Great Midsize Front Drive Car

Faults:

No Problems at all with this car.

General Comments:

This car is very comfortable, rides and handles very well, its great in snow, I have the Electronic Stability Control and traction control. Gas mileage is about 31 mpg on the highway and about 23 in the city, about what the sticker says. The 2-7 engine moves very well.

Make sure that you change the oil religiously in the 2.7 every 3,000 miles. You might also want to trade the car in before it hits 60,000. The 2.7 liter engines have a notorious reputation for sludging the oil and failing. Replacements cost about $8,000 installed -- usually about the same as the value of the car when its time for a new engine -- and Chrysler will NOT reimburse you for the repair cost.

Good luck!

2007 Chrysler Sebring Sedan Base 2.4 Gas from North America

Nothing has gone wrong.

Really like the styling and interior comfort.

The base model with several well picked options make this car very affordable compared to the competitors similar models.
