Nice honest review, I'm considering a VTR as my first car, I'm 18, I like how they have the good looks of a 106, and the gadgets of a Clio, the cheapest insurance I've found is norwich union TP:F&T £1600, where did you get under £1k full comp?

Try Norwich Union or Elephant. I'm with Norwich union and pay about £900 fully comp for a 306 D-turbo-s, but I am changing to a VTR in around a month. im also 19 with only 1 years no claims

I have just changed to a vtr and I am payin £740 fully comp for 10 months with Admiral. I don't think it is true that all boy racers have these. I am 19 and male, but I don't thrash it, I don't race, I just enjoy driving. I hate being called a Chav etc and hate it when people think that a VTR is the best and fastest car on the road.

Yes, definitely Admiral. Their target group is 18-24 years old and no to little no claims. I'm only 21 and got insured on a Golf VR6 for only £900 TPFT with no "no claims" and passed only 3 years with 6 points. I recommend Admiral, can't get cheaper believe me.

You might struggle to get insured on a VTR as they are 1.6 Shouldn't have any trouble getting insurance on a 1.1 Or you could go for somthing else. Corsa 1.2, civic 1.4, clio etc.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can get cheap insurance for a VTR? I work in insurance myself, but still can't find anywhere cheap enough. I'm 18, and with no no claims bonus until February. Please help!
