2013 Dodge Charger R/T 5.7L Hemi V8 from North America
Summary:
The total package
Faults:
Nothing so far.
General Comments:
Dodge really listened to the complaints from consumers about the previous generation Chargers (06-2010 model years). The exterior appearance of the car harkens back to the classic late 60's Chargers, with dual scallops on the hood and sweeping scoops doors that flow from the front door to the back of the car. The full length LED tail lights are a signature touch that throws back to the classic Charger muscle cars, and make the new Charger instantly recognizable to anyone who sees it out on the road. It's easily my favorite appearance feature on the car.
The interior quality, fit, and finish is excellent overall. My 2013 Charger R/T AWD is equipped with a cloth interior (I didn't want leather) and it has the most comfortable seats I've had in any car that I've personally owned. The dash is simple yet extremely functional. The 8.4" Uconnect system is excellent and shows that Dodge/Chrysler really did their homework trying to come up with a system of their own that could compete with Ford and their SYNC system. The interior is very spacious, as should be expected for such a big four door sedan. The new Charger interior is literally light years ahead of the previous generation.
The car handles very well for a vehicle that's so large. It eats up curves like a car half its size, with little to no body roll, yet the ride quality overall remains soft enough that normal driving is comfortable and not too bumpy. The 5.7L Hemi V8 puts out 370hp and 395lb/ft of torque, all the while allowing for up to 23 MPG on average on the highway as equipped with AWD. I've been able to average over 23 MPG, and I've read other reviews that have claimed as high as 26 MPG with the 5.7L with careful driving on the highway.
The Charger really is a great car for anyone that wants aggressive muscle car type styling, but still requires the practicality of a four door sedan for those days when you need to haul your friends around, pick up the groceries, or take your kids to school. It's the total package. I'm extremely happy with my Charger so far, and am glad to recommend the Charger to anyone that's in the market for such a vehicle.

I have to agree whole heartedly with this comment. I also have a 2013 Dodge Charger R/T (5.7 V-8 hemi). I bought mine in may 2013 with less than 10 miles on it, and after 2 years and about 25,000 miles, I am still loving this car.
