Regarding the Airbag sensors: There is a recall on 2005 and 2006, and possibly 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan Airbag sensors. I have a problem also with my 2006 model. However, Chrysler is not recalling all units. I think they should recall ALL of them that fail, not selected VIN numbers. This is suggestive that Chrysler would rather play cover up.

First, call Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403 or NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236. If you have airbag failure in a frontal collision, you should consider suing Chrysler. You would have an excellent case. However, your safety is paramount. You can buy the sensors for $20-$45. There are two sensors on the front of your vehicle near the edge of your steel inner front bumper. The connectors hang down toward the ground. They are accessible and easy to replace with one wrench (held on by (2) 8 or 10 mm bolts).

It is a very inexpensive fix. You can also find the sensors on ebay.

Had for two years, and it's got 47000 miles on it. 2008 Dodge Caravan with the stow and go seats. Love to drive it, but it seems like I'm always doing something to it. New wheel bearing, brakes and rotors, is seems like all the time because of warping. Now it's the ABS light and the light for the slippage. I don't like the repair bills.

Not only was the Odyssey one of the most unreliable vans I have ever owned, but the Caravan from 1990 until 2011 is obviously one of the best selling vehicles for a reason! Mine has had zero problems, and is far superior in every way from my Honda.

As far as the F-150's being reliable, once again you are dead wrong on that one; ask any repair shop about the horror stories on Ford trucks!
