I have a 2001 Chrysler Concorde with the 2.7L engine. The timing chain broke and caused the whole engine to fail. I had to have the engine rebuilt and it cost me $3200 to fix. The 2.7L is a poor excuse for an engine, and I can't wait for this to go to a class action lawsuit.
I believe if you go to www.daimlerchryslervehicleproblems.com, you can sign up for a pending class action lawsuit.

Its amazing to me, I thought I was all on my own, considering Chrysler told me, this is unusual and that I have to make the repairs by myself, I owe 12,900 on this car and it sits in my driveway, I am a single Mom trying to live and this car is about to put me in bankruptcy. All of us need to pull together and get Chrysler to fix THEIR error!

I had my engine replaced under warranty at 32,000. I was lied to at the dealership and had to shell out extra money for a rental as it took 21 days to fix. I now have 52,000 and the timing chain tensioner went out. $800. Same old story Chrysler and the dealership refuse to admit there is a problem and will not help. I would like to get info on the class action suit. I have always been a die hard buy American person. I have now lost my faith in American cars and will buy something else next time. Can someone post the class action info please?
