If you think a Aries-K turbo is LOL then go to the dodgegarage website, there you'll see a Reliant-K turbo that has gone almost 2 seconds quicker than a stock VIPER in the 1/4 mile! Also on the dyno just before blowing up it put 444 hp at the front wheels! NO TYPO yes 444 hp! Many fast Dodge turbo cars and the ultimate sleepers even if they're dressed up because of the typical ignorance (lack of knowledge) concerning Dodge vehicles.

12.65 @ 105 for a minivan. Check it out at www.turbovan.net.
I laughed when I watched it smoke a Camaro SS.

I love my '03! I'm approaching 44k and have had minor problems. The TPS has gone out (don't let the dealer tell you to buy the sending unit for $98 - only buy the harness with wires for about $25) and the sensor in my gas tank rusted, only allowing me to fill up between 1/2 and 1/4 of the way full. I was unimpressed with the stock tires also.
We've dumped about $4500 in mostly engine upgrades and some cosmetic items and the result is very very cool. It's my daily driver, runs low 13's on street tires, mid to high 12's on slicks and I still cruise around with 2 kids in the back seat.

I guess the reviewer here isn't too into American cars... "Finally an American auto manufacturer turbo's a car"?!?... Hmmm, what about the Turbo Trans Am (1980-81) that was used in the second Smokey & The Bandit movie... or say the Buick Regal T-Type, Grand National or GNX. How about the GMC Typhoon and Syclone from the early 90's and then the pace car Trans Am of 1989 with the 240 HP TURBO 3.8L V-6 (from the Buicks). And let's not leave Ford out with the SVO Mustang '84-'86 and the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. All of the above were turbo-charged American cars in addition to the Chrysler cars mentioned in the above comments. Do some research before making comments...

Older thunderbirds came with a 2.3 Turbo, not a supercharger. Then some had the 5.0 and later ones replaced the turbo version with the crappy 3.8.

Is the turbo Caravan the only minivan with a turbo around (minus Plymouth Voyager etc. relatives)? I want to make a sleeper van because of a family now. I want to race, but have my wife happy at the same time. Please help me!

To the Reviewer: The SRT-4 is made by Dodge, which is owned by Daimler-Chrysler a GERMAN COMPANY. I hate it when people buy cars because they are American. Well look at the Ford Fusion, that car is made in Mexico while the Toyota Camry is made in America. Learn the facts before posting something like this.

In fact, there were several turbo k's. Unfortunately, what happens when you put something like a turbo on an economy car, ie: Aries, 600, Lebaron, Omni, Spirit, Shadow, Lancer, is people run it hard and, not knowing any better, just shut it off. This leaves evil engine sludge in the delicate parts of the turbo. I'm not sure if the SRT-4 has a turbo timer, but it would be a good investment if not.
