Summary:

Test drive one!!

Faults:

Transmission/transfer case replaced at around 46,000 miles, under warranty.

Leather worn on the side of the driver's seat from normal entry/exit.

Paint bubbling inside the driver's door.

General Comments:

Looks stunning and always gets attention! I stop to look every time I park it!!

AWD makes it an all-year sportscar if so desired!

Handles like a dream, and feels very stable at high speeds (>130).

Acceleration is BLAZING fast with AWD launches.

Interior looks/feels very nice, great quality!

Transmissions are known to have trouble.

Car is VERY addicting, more so than other sports cars I have owned. You've been warned!

My 1993 Stealth has everything a person could want in a car, except we are having trouble with the transmission.. It hangs in low gear. It will jerk real bad in reverse. In drive the transmission may work fine today and tomorrow it willhang in 1, 2 and I have to cut it off and start over. We have had it checked and can't find the problem. Will I need to replace the entire transmission? I have an automatic. I love the car.

An amazing combination of performance and luxury

Faults:

The clutch went less than a year after purchase.

Tires are due this spring.

General Comments:

Amazing. There's not a day that goes by when I am not amazed at what this car can do, sometimes you have to just step back and take a look at it.

I agree a 100% with you on all aspects. I had a Stealth 2 years ago and I'm having serious withdrawls. I too had to have my clutch replaced soon after I bought the vehicle. And just before I got rid of it. My brakes were going too but who cares, stuff like that happenes to cars! I'm getting another one soon and will stick by that beautiful work of art as long as possible. I love em.
