Chrysler products are junk!!! Cheaply made, expensive to maintain!!! Sorry America, buying foreign again. I gave you a try, and you still make garbage cars!!!!

My 1996 Stratus is a great little car. The basic 2.4L DOHC motor outruns most Ford and GM V6s and a lot of foreign cars as well. It handles great on the road and hugs corners like no other. I don't know what your problem is with yours, but as hard as I have been on mine it just keeps on going strong. All that has ever been done to it since I have bought it is a minor tune up. I think Dodge made a good little car here. It out-performed all the other domestic and foreign cars I test drove before it.

I agree with you. I had the head gasket blow at 25,000 miles! Since then it has eaten brakes and rotors every 3 months-and that's after 3 full overhauls to the brake system. The head gasket is shot again and trying to work on this car just sucks! My advise to anyone with a leak from any of the gaskets is to sell quick-DON'T TRY TO FIX IT!!! ITS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Try a new Dodge Stratus, 2001 with a whole new set up. A 2.7 v6 with 200hp and a new suspension, the car is a lot better and is revised and a lot better. I think you would be impressed if you were to buy one.
