I have a 1996 Dodge stratus ES and I have had so many problems with it. Two years after I got my car I had to get a timing belt, new spark plugs and wires, a thermostat, a water pump, gaskets, paying out $1900. Now one year later my check engine light is on and Kemper Dodge keep telling me there is nothing wrong with my car. I don't know where to turn, now I'm driving around with my check engine light on and my car shacking.

I have a 1995 Dodge Stratus with 110,000 miles on it. I am the second owner and when I bought the car in 2001 it had 55,000 miles to it. I truly do not have any complaints on the Stratus, except for the side and rear visibility. I run my car pretty rough and it has yet to fail me. The only maintenance I have done is, it needed a starter after I bought it because the old had frozen. Other than that, my car gets occasional oil changes and tune ups and I'm set!

I just bought a stratus 95 a week ago. I paid 750 dollars for it. its not a lot, but so far I notice that it shakes a little while waiting for the light to change, the a/c and defroster buttons are a pain you know where, when I'm stopping the transmission seems (or I should say feels) to still be engaged and then suddenly it lets go, and more important a day ago when I filled up the tank ($35) I found out there is a hole on the top of the tank how? I don't know. But for 750 dollars what you expected. It passed emission very good do. Personally I prefer Chevy better.

I inherited a 95 stratus which is terrible. The transmission is slipping (which started at 110,000 miles) and there is also a computer problem. I'd perfer a honda.
