1995 Eagle Talon esi 4.0 16v DOHC from North America
Summary:
A good starter car for a kid to teach them how to budget their money
Faults:
Belts, already replaced twice at 110,00 miles and 150,000 miles.
Harmonic balancer replaced at both 110,000 and 150,000, due to no easy removal when replacing belts.
Fogged drivers side headlight lens cover at 110,000 miles.
Shock in hatch does not hold hatch up since 115,000 miles.
Spark plug wires replaced at 150,000, due to constant engine hesitation, not fixed, still hesitates.
Both front and rear upper control arms needed to be replaced at 154,000 along with the bushings.
Front suspension replaced at 154,000 miles.
Rear suspension replaced at 154,000 miles.
Clear coat paint on both outside mirrors flaked off, beginning at 60,000 miles.
Front rack bad at 154,000 miles.
Belts are constantly squalling out loud all the time.
General Comments:
Great gas mileage.
Interior holds up very well and clean with frequent cleaning, the car looks nice on the inside with minimal consistent engine performance and flaking clear coat.
Expensive to maintain in engine and suspension once you hit 150,000 miles. Stick with it, paying a price, or get rid of it and use that money for a down payment on a new car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I also have a 1995 Talon that overheats, radiator fans do not run when it's hot also temp gage is not indicating. I am in the process of finding the problem, but no luck yet. Anybody???
