I have a 1995 Eagle Talon with 120,000 miles on it which includes about 100 hours of track time. My 8 year old replacement clutch began to stick last night. First thing I checked was crank walk. It was.006, still with in factory spec. Either I am very lucky or synthetic oil is worth the cost.
Just wanted to point out that crank walk on these cars is not necessarily an inevetable problem.

I just got a 96 talon TSI turbo. I love it, it is so much faster than my previous non turbo talon. It already has a turbo timer on it, exhaust, K&N air filter and what looks like a small inter-cooler on it. What should be my next upgrades to speed it up. I think I should get a blow off valve next, but then what?

I have a 96 Eagle Talon with 148,00 miles and it still drives and looks great. I have one problem with the radio it would stop working if I hit a bump and then come back on.
This last week I only have static on all FM stations, but can get AM stations and the CD player still works.
Any idea on what could be the problem?

Whats up I just bought a 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD it has 109,977k on it. I paid $300 for it, I basiclly stole it from him. Turns out it had a piston slapping around in the motor. This Tuesday I'm sending my block and head to the machine shop. I'm doing a total rebuild. I've bought a set of forge JE pistons and eagle H-beam rods. I'm building a monster from the bottom up. I'm saving up for a big T3-T4 or 16g turbo. Only bad thing is I haven't even driven it yet.

Looking at a 95 Talon TSi AWD turbo in really good shape, 155k, for 2G. The owner just had the trans rebuilt but he says it has problems shifting (it's an auto). Any ideas out there?

Bought a white 96 Talon TSi AWD with 150,000 on it. I owned a 04 RSX Type S with a gt30r turbo, and I have to say the Talon makes great torque for a stock car. No major problems, just have to say what a great car, handles great, still looks good besides some trim that's faded. Love the AWD, I have to say I'm impressed with this car for being 13 years old and still hanging with new cars or even beating them.

Hey everyone.
I'm looking at buying a 95 Eagle Talon. It has a replaced engine and transmission with about 80,000 km. The person selling the car is someone trustworthy that a friend referred me too. He used to be a mechanic and was doing a favor for someone and was fixing the car. Now the person has disappeared and he got stuck with it and selling it for 600.
The only thing he said that's up with it is that there may be an issue with the speed sensor. The car doesn't shift to second gear when it should. It shifts smooth it just revs a little high before it does.
Has anyone experienced this and had it repaired so I know what I'm getting into?
Please email me at zenddesignstudios@hotmail.com
Thank you.

I have a 95 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD and it's an awesome car. AFTER 4000 dollars of repairs to the whole car. Not to mention countless repairs done for free that weren't tacked on due to outrageous cost. But, it will run like a top! And all of the work is garanteed, so if things break again; oh well. Hopefully they won't. I will take note of the crank shaft issue and idle issues that have been made apparent in here and have them checked and looked after.
