1993 Eagle Vision TSi 3.5L 24v V6 from North America

Summary:

A fun family sedan you can tour in

Faults:

The trans. went bad at 170,000 miles.

The pasenger front wheel hub went bad at 189,000.

General Comments:

For the money I paid and the mileage of the car, I would rate it as one of the best cars I have owned.

All the failures have been in line with its age and use, no other faults have arisen.

I would recommend any of the Dodge LH line of cars to any one I know.

1993 Eagle Vision ESi 3.3 from North America

Summary:

Nice car if you've got spare money

Faults:

The air-conditioning leaks in the cold weather so every spring it needs to be refilled. the technicians can't seem to find the leak.

The transmission had to be replaced at an extreme cost and the ball-joints, tie-rods and sway-bar links were all replaced. The front brake rotors were replaced for wear and they're warped again (this car is not driven hard either).

The water-pump has been replaced twice and is leaking again.

General Comments:

This car handles and performs very well for all the kilometers on it.

But it costs an awful amount for upkeep.

1993 Eagle Vision TSi 3.5 V6 from North America

Summary:

Stay away from Chrysler..

Faults:

The car die suddenly and no mechanics can figured out what is the problem.

Trying to pinpoint the problem so far the following components has been changed: 2 times the crankshaft sensor, the camshaft sensor, ignition pack, harness wires and the ignition-injection electronic module and the problem still persist.

Transmission shift abruptly due to chronic design deficiencies of the electronic control module.

General Comments:

It is hard for me to understand how Chrysler is still in business after a long traditions of producing car like this.

The only good thing about this vehicle is the style and that was the trap in which I fell into.

The reliability is so inexistent that a Lada by comparison is a Rolls Royce.

I'm very curious to know what percentage of people buying a Chrysler product buy Chrysler again.

The quality of the dealer service is inexistent as well, I think any 10 years old kid knows about mechanic much more of this guys that you have to pay $90 per hour.

Never ever again an other American car, my next one will be a Nissan Maxima.

I currently own a 93 eagle vision and other than normal wear and tear this vehicle has been by far the best vehicle I've owned.

Since I got this vehicle 3 years and 140,000 km ago I have only had to replace the water pump and fuel pump. Both of which were very inexpensive, and very easy to change yourself.

I know some people have had problems with Chrysler's, but I've had problems with everything, but. The only vehicles I've been able to drive the way I do ARE Chrysler's. Ford's, Chev's, Even import cars couldn't take the abuse I've put my Chrysler's through.

1993 Eagle Vision TSi 3.5 V6 from North America

Summary:

Cadillac style, powerful engine, low price

Faults:

I just bought the car 2 days ago, but here are the problems it had when I bought it.

Window switch problems, driver's controls won't work the front passenger or rear driver's side windows.

Traction control switch has to be pressed several times to work.

LED lights on last two (treble) equalizer switches are out.

General Comments:

Seems very quick and has very good throttle response.

Turns well and handles with one finger on the wheel.

Love the sound system.

On board computer is a definite plus, showing direction, temp, trip odometer, timer, average and current miles per gallon and estimated miles left in the gas tank.

The seats and the cabin are extremely inviting and seem to be the quality of much more expensive cars.

Best part, I only paid $2500!

1993 Eagle Vision TSi 3.5 from North America

Summary:

A powerful, and roomy car, great for road trips

Faults:

I have a gas leak, it has been this way since I got it, every day I wonder if I'm gonna blow up, it will cost too much to fix.

General Comments:

Very nice car to drive, and it looks stylish, but, beware when buying on, have a mechanic check it out for you before purchasing, I don't want you living in fear every day like me.

There is a recall on the fuel rail for the Eagle Vision. The dealer will fix it at no charge. I'm having the 2nd rail (one for each side) fixed right now at no charge.

Check it out. Please don't blow up.
