Faults:

The biggest problem was the gearbox: I struggle to get it into Reverse Gear - getting worse now!

A rattle in the handbrake.

Not too stable when windy - but not serious.

General Comments:

A very good runner.

Absolute reliable engine.

Seats are wonderfully comfortable - excellent for long distances: my mom found it more comfortable than her Mercedes!

No parts needed to be replaced, except for the cam belt at 80 000km's.

It handles nicely.

High from the ground and never had a problem with scraping or hurting it when getting in and out of awkward slopes, etc.

The body is very strongly built.

Quite a fast getawayer.

Never go to the dealer to get it serviced once out of warranty - they are VERY expensive.

I've had many happy kilometre's with this car.

Faults:

My timing belt wore out at 45000 kms.

Timing bearing broke and ceased at 45000 kms.

A/c switch stops working at 46000 kms.

Front axil makes noise on sharp right curves at 20000 kms.

General Comments:

The car is excellent in handling and road grip.

Siena has a fast initial pickup but is a bit sluggish in 3rd gear.

Compared to 1.2 engine size top speed is excellent at 160+

A/c is excellent, but not in scorching sun.

Seating is extremely comfortable specially front buckets.

The music system is classic, complete with 6 speakers.

Fog lamps are very effective.

Cupholder in glove box is a well thought advantage.

Lot of space in glove box, door panels & dashboard.

Mileage is huge--18 km/litre is what I have clocked, worst is 12 with a/c and 5 persons on board, city road.

Faults:

This car having excelent performance.Its something like a tank. The poor service done by the dealer is the head ache. In 65000 the vehicle is not moving in the third gear. It was very expensive as I have to change the full set of third gear. It took 4 months to get it repaired from TVS service centre. They are very irresponsible people I saw in my life. Low mileage.A leakage from the Turbo side started recently.

General Comments:

The vehicle is very good for long drive. The low turning radius makes it difficult in city parking.

Faults:

A/C Switch faulty replaced under warranty

Gear Box not moving on Third gear parts replaced under warranty 55000 km

Same problem again 70000km spares given on reduced price only.

A/C not effective when its above 35 c temp.

A/C Evaporator unit and Discharge tube changed 85000 km.

Timing belt changed 88000 km - Seems it can still do a lot more than that..was changed fearing it may break down and cause damage.

General Comments:

Excellent engine and handling for a diesel...quiet and smooth and even out runs some petrol models..I have done 160 km /hour..huge boot..good for potholed roads..

Faults:

Wrong headlamps, the two headlamps were not identical at the time of purchase my brand new car.

Luggage booth not closing properly and every time it rains water goes inside the booth compartment.

Air conditioner leaking gas.

Rust in the roof of the car.

General Comments:

So far (10,000 km) no serious problems with the engine, but serious rust problems in the roof.

Faults:

The steering box was leaking fluid. It was replaced under warranty at 28000 kilometers.

Clutch replaced at 210000 kilometers.

Some electrical problems. The mechanic didn't told why.

Engine's oil consumption.

Water pump replaced at 190000 kilometers.

Underpowered. Too much pork for the little 1.3L engine.

General Comments:

Excellent car. Very good handling and braking.

Very comfortable and reliable.

Cheap to keep and repair. Easy to wrench on, it has plenty of space under the hood.

The air conditioner blows strong until the filter clogs.

Very good looking.

Dealer service needs improving.

Strong engine, my car has 225000 kilometers without a rebuild.

Faults:

Oil leaks from motor head at 1000 km, was fixed

Front brakes problem, still present.

General Comments:

Its a good car, it has a strong body, but its interior is badly built of cheap materials.
