I have a 1994 Ford Explorer XLT, but It says 4.7 L on the back which no-one has ever heard of so I think it was the previous owner who did this. I bought it at under 300 000 KM and have it around 340 000 KM and so far without warning my tensioner for the front belt fell off... well it was 100$ Canadian used to get on installed which was no biggy. I 4x4 this thing like a Hummer which it does a nice job pretending :D It is a VERY safe vehicle as I almost took it off a cliff, but nailed a large tree instead which bent in my bumper and hood, after which I has to flick the fuel cut off switch a very VERY nice option; started it up and drove home which was 300km away. Drove it to work today and it drives like a small jeep, but holds who-ever and whatever you want. I'm in the process of selling her which saddens me as its already been so good to me and has memory and character which I've self inflicted to it, but my next vehicle is going to be the Ford Explorer Expedition 98' until I can afford a new one, but from what I've seen that's my choice unless I can get a 99' because of its heated leather seats...

I have a 1994 Ford Explorer Limited and the only thing I had to place on it yet was the fuel pump. When I purchased it it had 150,8000 miles on it and now it has 151,400. When I hit bumps or go off small curbs going out of parking lots it makes a slight crunching noise, but other than that it is a very pretty SUV and I plan on keeping it for a long while. As old as it is it still considered by many a sharp vehicle.
