Faults:

Starter and alternator have been replaced.

Going to be doing the tie rod ends real soon.

Have had to replace brakes, but this is all routine maintenance for a vehicle of this age and mileage.

The most major thing I have done to the motor is replace the intake manifold gasket because of a small oil leak.

Had to replace the radiator, and that was because of my stupidity; dropped a socket into a fan blade while the truck was running.

General Comments:

I was able to improve my gas mileage from 8-10 MPG to 10-12 MPG, however it cost some money to save money. I added a Mallory ignition box, MSD TFI coil, Jet performance chip, B&M shift kit, dual 2 1/2" exhaust with a dual in, dual out Flowmaster and high flow cat. 2 K&N air filters on a custom built cold air intake with a throttle body spacer.
