2008 Ford Focus C-MAX Titanium 2.0 TDCi turbo diesel from UK and Ireland
Summary:
C-Max is a Tardis with great comfort, performance and refinement
Faults:
This C-Max, my second C-Max, has been a perfect purchase. Not one fault.
General Comments:
Compared to the previous 2005 model I owned, the 2008 model C-Max is awesome. It accelerates like a rocket, and in my opinion performance is far better than its petrol equivalent. Acceleration to 100mph is effortless. It's a car I can travel in all day and still feel refreshed and able to carry on driving. Quiet, refined, and a great driving position.
Sony sound system is excellent, driving 8 speakers. Lots of storage space and cubbyholes, and lots of nice touches like auto dipping rear view mirror, auto wipers and headlights, heated windscreen, door mirrors and washer jets, soft glow ambient lighting, sunblinds, variable steering assistance settings, fold-up tables, headlight delay and puddle lights.
Seats fold to provide large load area space.
Brakes are powerful.
Excellent build quality.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Have had a C Max Zetec 2.0 diesel as company car since September 2012. Had done only 40000 miles when I got it, but the clutch had recently been replaced, which was unusual I thought.
Last car was a 2006 Renault Scenic, which although a better car in very many ways, had too many problems for me to keep it.
The C Max is reasonably comfortable and quiet, but I am still finding it difficult to get a really comfortable driving position. Here the Scenic was far better.
The C Max is very fast for a diesel and is economical too - 48-50 MPG, and sometimes more. The interior is incredibly cheaply made and not put together very well. EVERYTHING rattles in the dashboard, which is very annoying. I guess that is the trade off for having a Ford.
I have done 8000 miles, and nothing has gone wrong so far.
