2010 Ford Galaxy Zetec 2.0 TDCI turbo diesel from UK and Ireland
Summary:
Nice bus
Faults:
Nothing.
General Comments:
Very impressed, drives very well, good fuel economy for a 1.8 ton 7 seater, and goes well for what it is.
For some reason, it does not have cruise control, which is standard on Mondeos, which are far cheaper.
Seats are very comfortable on long runs compared to the 05 Mondeo it replaced, which gave me serious backache on a run.
People in older shape Galaxys/Picassos/Zafiras trying to race with you all the time; what is that all about?
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I bought my New Ford Galaxy in May 2010, and it has had two new clutches fitted. Anyone had any problems with the Ford Galaxy clutch?

I have Ford Galaxy 2010, 1.8 TDCi. I have driven already 172000km, and still nothing has wrong with it, just a regular inspections every 10000km. Have changed brake discs, brake pads etc; things which just wear out.
It is my first Ford, and I have to admit it is a great car. On the highway it takes 5l/100km. We've traveled all Europe with it, and it has never let me down.
It is a big car, and I consider it as a plus.

5500 on the clock now, and although it returns a reasonable 34/35 mpg round town, it struggles to do much more than 40 mpg on a run. Best it's done is 43 at a steady 70mph. Any faster than 80 drops it back in to the high 30s. It has been totally fault free, and has never needed anything but diesel.
