Hi, I've bought my daughter a KA and have a problem with the pushrods on no.3 chamber keep popping off. I have had the rods replaced, but they still keep coming off, any ideas?
Apart from that, the car runs great!

With the Ford Ka suspension, many parts wear from year to year i.e. banging on the driver's side or passenger side, lower wishbone joints, top suspension mounts with bearing. It's best to do both sides at once. The parts are very cheap new.
Front wheel bearings are a big issue with the Ka. Do both sides if winding or grinding noises can be heard, because you may have a job to know which side the noise is from.
As a Ford Ka owner for many years, I do all my own repairs to keep the car in running order.
Just because there is no movement on either wheel when checking the wheel bearings, does not mean the bearing is not bad, because they dry out, hence the noise. Most people only do one wheel bearing on one side; fatal mistake, always do both sides.
I hope this will help all you DIY mechanics out there.

I've just bought a 94 plate Ka Sport. Lovely little car, but every time I do a full turn with the steering wheel, I get a knocking on the front passenger side.
The person I bought it from said it was the exhaust and it is a common problem, nothing to worry about, but I thought I'd ask on here and see if anyone else has the same problem, and if it is what I was told?

Hey. Does anyone know how I can turn my revs up??? It seems that whenever I slow down for a roundabout, the car cuts out.. I have been told my car is revving too low, but I don't know how to turn it up?
