1966 Ford LTD 352 cid from North America
Faults:
Factory paint job was very thin to begin with and went bad after only 4 years. Mufflers replaced at 30K.
General Comments:
A big, solid car with what was advertised on TV as a smoother ride and lower noise level than the '66 Rolls Royce. This was probably true. You could hit 90 mph with a tap of the gas pedal too. Miles of chrome trim and big, heavy chrome bumpers. Also more resistant to door dings than todays cars due to a thicker sheet metal body. Nice, big trunk. As with most '60s cars, this was easy for the do-it-your-selfer to maintain.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
