Faults:

Really nothing much beyond services and wear and tear. Almost on 40K now with no problems. Had the car two years, privately owned.

General Comments:

The Mondeo has always been a great all round car, and this last generation has it all. Really is perfect transport, Ford got this car sorted.

EcoBlue Zetec model is a good one to go for; you get a fast and economical diesel engine and plenty of equipment.

The car looks stunning inside and out. Mine is grey, a common color but suits it well. Alloy wheels are standard size; avoid the massive upgrades to 19 or 20 inch wheels, they ruin the nice ride.

Very comfortable seats, driving position is perfect for me. Spacious.

2.0 diesel as mentioned provides good power. I have also averaged a genuine 56 MPG, and that is calculated accurately by myself, I don't always trust the trip computer in any car. I do a mix of short and long journeys.

To sum up, this car is at its best cruising on the motorways. If you need a large family / executive car, you could do a lot worse than one of these. Shame they stopped making them!
