1994 Ford Tempo GL 3.0 Liter V6 from North America
Summary:
A wonderful low-budget, nice ride
Faults:
The connections to my driver-side headlight are loose and the light tends to turn off and on while driving.
The rear passenger door does not lock.
The rear driver-side door does not unlock.
General Comments:
I love the body of the car except for the rear-end, I think it could have been designed to look nicer.
The interior is just a bit too small than what I'd like it to be.
The car handles really well, has a nice smooth ride.
The 3.0 liter engine has a lot of pickup.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Hey, I totally agree with you that these make great first cars and all; just take care of them and they'll last, which is pretty well the case with any car.
Luckily I haven't experienced any serious electrical or mechanical gremlins with my Tempo, but whenever I have a question about the car, I always go to http://www.tempotopaz.com and ask these people that have had these cars apart to every nut and bolt, and probably have experienced, or heard of every possible problem. Check it out if you haven't already done so... Membership is free, and the people are the most friendly I've seen on forums.
