Faults:

Prop shaft whine, diff leak, gearbox failed at the end (which made me scrap it), engine leaked oil, chassis and panels rusted in the final years, etc. Typical hard working van life.

General Comments:

A great works van I had back in the day.

Classic Transit van, long wheel base (LWB) heavy duty, carried loads very well. 1991 H registered vehicle. Ex Ford demonstrator.

Very noisy and unrefined though.

OK to drive, fast enough and economical for its time.

2.5 diesel was serviced but worked hard and did high miles, but soldiered on.

A great van, miss the sight of them on the road.
