1999 Geo Prizm from North America
Summary:
Engine is very reliable. Electronics & body parts not very good.
Faults:
Air bag indicator light always blinks from the time I purchased.
The clock and the electrical display of the radio does not work from the time I purchased.
Hand Break Light always stays on at 45,000miles.
The handle to open door on the driver side broke at 50,000 miles.
The radio, and the 12V power supply stopped working after I used it for a car seat massager at 52,000 miles.
General Comments:
The engine is quite good. Never did any maintenance except oil change. Gives me a 29 mpg in city and 32 mpg in highways. The car is quite reliable. Noise level of the car is somewhat high.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I agree with the below comment. to reduce noise level, vibrating I suggest that you get a wheel alignment and get all 4 wheels balanced and rotated. it worked on my 1992 geo metro. now it runs very smoothly.

Yes Geo was discontinued, but the Prizm was and always will be a Toyota Corolla with a different badge on it.

Radio and lighter are on the same circuit, replace the fuse you blew when you used the seat warmer.
