2012 Holden Barina TM 1.6 from Australia and New Zealand
Summary:
Walking requires less effort than the Barina
Faults:
Didn't drive enough to see things falling apart, but it had lot of rattles for a new car. I had a demo, which had done very few km; close to brand new.
General Comments:
Well... where to start. Revs a lot, but no go. At one point I felt like cutting a hole in the floor, and using my legs to give it more speed.
Seating positions are very uncomfortable. Very poor on fuel. A car that has small engine and no go - with 4 people it'll consume similar or more fuel than a Commodore.
I don't have the right to comment on reliability, as I only owned for few thousand Ks and couldn't take it any more. But I have owned over 70 cars over the last 20 years, and this one should be bottom of the list. Wouldn't buy another one for sure.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No
