Faults:
Well, have had the car since it had 87,000 miles on it. Most expensive repair was off the shelf replacement of transmission at a transmission shop about 100,000 miles ago. But it is still working flawlessly.
Replaced the alternator three times because it was a cheap aftermarket (by the way you MUST drop the left front axle to do this). They covered it.
Do notice that the rotors have a tendency to warp, but hasn't been bad in quite some time.
Repaired rust under windshield and rust in trunk.
Has new master cylinder and water pump.
Mysterious stalling problem was solved by replacing BOTH front (engine) and rear (behind left rear tire) fuel filters.
Need to fix cruise control (just went out)
General Comments:
Car has been through a lot in the 12 years we've owned it and is kept as clean as possible (still waxing the white paint).
The engine has never been opened! Still gets 30 mpg every tankful and runs without a complaint. Change the oil every 2500 miles in all my vehicles.
What can I say? It outlasted my Mazda B2000 (260K) and I gave that vehicle similar care. I'm not one to gloat about Honda's believe me (bought a 2001 4x4 Tribute instead of a CR-V) but my only complaint is the drivers seat position and the non-functionality of the headrests over long drives. Seat/ (whole car) is too low and I need to use a chiropractic back support when driving.

Come on now, plenty of cars handle far better then a 1987 Honda Accord Dx. Why do you think this vehicle is a minivan?
