1991 Honda Accord LX 2.2L 4 cylinder from North America
Summary:
Agile, reliable, and loads of fun!
Faults:
The trunk leaks excessively through the tail lights. This has been labeled as a manufacturer's defect.
The power antenna is a pain. Mine broke twice, and the antenna motor died. $250.00 to fix that. Just go to any local store and buy a basic antenna to prevent hassle and cost.
Light rear end, the rear drum brakes loved to lock up on emergency stops.
Funny low-back seats are not for everyone.
General Comments:
This car was amazing. Absolutely amazing. My father purchased this car originally, and put the first 150,000 miles on it, and passed it down to me.
As a high school car, I beat up this thing ruthlessly. Even though I dropped the transmission at 160,000k, the clutch was everlasting. The cars suspension is still original and working mint. The brakes were replaced only twice, throughout all 175,000 miles thanks to the light weight body.
The coupe was fun, I personally loved the huge windows on a sunny day. Made a sun-roof almost pointless!
The overall performance was excellent for the cost. The eager motor, and excellent manual shifting made this car a blast. I managed to take 80MPH turns on a windy road with minimal under-steer and tire squeal. It's a great used car, especially for the youngster!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Re the driver's side window track. That was a horrible pain for mine -- never rolled up right, and wind scream. Well, the dealership just lubed the rubber and it rolls up much, much easier & won't need replacing after all.
