1993 Honda Accord EX from North America
Faults:
The shocks were bad and I had a hard time driving the car.
The car had been in two floods and still ran well.

After 120,000 miles, still a great car!
Overall, an awesome car. It has never let me down once. There have been a few fit and finish problems, (interior door handle casing, heater control knob!!!), but nothing a few bucks at the dealership couldn't fix.
I must say that I have been very disapointed with my manual transmission(s). My first had a bad 1-2 synchronizer at 95,000 miles. This is my second, (bought used with 91,000 miles on it) and now the 2-3 synchronizer is bad. I can drive a stick shift very well, but Honda as well as I blame it on poor maintenance! Not changing the transmission oil when recommended is a sure fire way to destroy any transmission. Since I bought the car used, who knows when - and if it was ever changed - as well as with my current transmission.
IMPOSSIBLE TO BALANCE THE ALLOY WHEELS, has been a consistent annoyance. They are not bent or deformed in any way!!!
Overall, I love it. It has been a good investment (for a car). It is still fun to drive, and handles and looks like it's new. I have managed to prevent that rust by the rear wheels from coming out!!! YES!!!
I love the Accord automatic transmissions a lot, and will most likely buy the automatic next time.

A great car
Spark plugs and distributor cap replaced at 135,000 miles.
Clutch replaced at 140,000 miles.
Radiator just replaced.
Clutch master cylinder leaking slightly.
Power mirror switch shorting out.
My previous car was a '92 Accord; I never had any trouble with it until it was totaled in an accident. I loved that car and this one too. It's also a pleasure to work on, very well designed.

The car was fine before my brother had totalled it. To my amazement, the engine had survived 4 accidents all in which resulted in front collision. I would think that the engine would have problems after much damage. But the engine kept on running smoothly after repairs.
Keep the car away from bad and clumsy drivers (like my brother for example) and it'll last forever.

I have great respect for the man who knows his engine code, F22A1 here. :)
