1993 Honda Accord 10th Anniversary Edition 2.2L 4 cylinder from North America
Summary:
I wouldn't think twice about buying this car again
Faults:
Suspension is noisy when it is cold outside.
Very rarely stalls when stopped, maybe once or twice a year.
Seals in right taillights bad, causing condensation to build inside cavity.
Noticed a decrease in horsepower since first purchased. Maybe due to high mileage.
General Comments:
I love my car! It has never broken down on me, has seen two wrecks totaling almost 9000 dollars, and still runs great in the city and on the highway. I do plan on keeping this car until it dies.
I bought it for 6800 dollars at the local Honda repair shop in vicinity of Pittsburgh, PA. Very good bargain due to the fact that it looked to be in showroom condition when I had bought it.
Has seen 3 PA winters, and loves the snow.
It has seen countless road trips to and from PA and VA.
I am concerned about the transmission a little though; the torque converter does not work very well. Will only work well in the summer with the air conditioning going...otherwise, during winter, it rarely works. I am not sure if it was due to the accident, or wear over time.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I'm very surprised that you said that you would not think about ever buying this car again, after you stated that it has been very reliable, and practically nothing has gone wrong with it. You must have extremely high expectations. As for the transmission, the automatic transmissions on the 1990 to 1993 Honda Accords have been known to be bad. Only the manual transmissions are good. So I'll give you credit there, otherwise, I don't understand you.
