Honda is so good? My one 2009 Accord started to rust under my seat and the car just ran 14K kilometer. What a joke.

I have now owned a 2010 Accord EX L Coupe V6 manual six speed for five weeks. I love it! It has style and a lot of sportiness, plenty of power and is fun to drive.
I considered a 2011 Mustang Premium V6, but by the time you added all the options to be comparable, the sticker was higher than the Accord. Plus two Ford dealers did not bother to even return my emails. Guess they were too busy selling trucks.

Careful on the newers Accords as the 4 cylinders have rear disks, the pads are prone to pre-mature wear. They make noise too when you're coming to a stop.

You are so lucky. The Honda Accord Coupe with the V6 and the 6-Speed manual is my dream car. I'd take it over ANY Mustang.

I've owned a 2009 Honda Accord LX since October 2009.
She's a fine machine, big (I gave my car the nickname '1972 Honda Fleetwood Brougham' because of its size), very reliable, and no major problems yet.
I'm a big guy at 6 feet 4 inches and 320 pounds, and the seats haven't been an issue at all, not even on long car trips.
The fuel economy is great - it can get from Washington DC to Berlin, NJ USA and back on half a tank of gas.

The new 2011 Mustang, while not as roomy as the Accord Coupe, has more power with the new base 3.7 Liter V6, is quicker and gets better fuel mileage than the Accord V6. I'm not biased toward foreign or domestics, I've owned plenty of both. And though comparing a Mustang to an Accord is like comparing a Pitbull to a Cocker Spaniel, I'd take the new Mustang any day for the simple style factor. I think the new Japanese mid-size and full-size Coupes from Nissan, Infinity, Hyundai, Honda and Toyota are atrociously ugly. If you have a family of more than 2, a mid or full-size sedan is a much better choice than any coupe.

There is certainly no comparison between the Honda and Mustang. The Honda is smoother riding than the Mustang (actually a child's toy wagon is smoother riding than a Mustang). With that said, I've owned 7 Mustangs over the years and my family has had one Honda. The Honda was the most unreliable and poorly built car I've ever seen. Never again. The harsh riding Mustang will still be blowing other cars off the road when a Honda will be rusting in the junkyard. Just find a dentist to replace your fillings every other week, and opt for the bullet-proof Mustang.

"I disagree. My Honda's have all been extremely reliable"
Consider yourself VERY fortunate. Our Honda began falling apart before the (very short) warranty expired. That's why there's a Ford in our driveway now.
