General Comments:
This car is very reliable and gets great gas mileage. It has not gotten me stuck anywhere. When its about to break it lets you know. I drive Pizzas for a living and average around 25 mpg. Which is not very good, but I do a lot of idling. Also I am very heavy on the gas sometimes. Before I delivered pizzas was over 30.
For anyone with a Honda car in 95-97 check to see if you have an extended warranty. It saved me three hundred dollars when my O2 sensor went and, I got a free tune up and oil change. Honda is offering this because some cars did not pass their emissions test and this is there way of making it up. It covers 14 yrs or 150,000 miles.
One bad thing Honda did in 97 civics was run the dome light, and keyless entry through the factory radio. I bought the car used and it already had an aftermarket cd player. So now I have no keyless and the doom light dose not turn on when you open the door.
I love the factory HX rims, but I run through front tires like crazy with my driving style.
All in all I love my car and I think my next one may be a new Civic SI.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Since most of your compliants about this car would have been evident on a test drive and/or a cursory inspection of the vehicle, I fail to see why you bought it.
