Yeah, good luck with that one. No Honda has had 20 recalls in its first year like the Focus did, and no Honda would keep a TEN year old design in production because the company thinks Americans are stupid (Europe has had the NEW Focus for a while now).

At least Ford doesn't cover up recalls like Honda and many other Japanese companies. And the reason that Honda never keeps a designs for to long is because they never has a good one to begin with. A good design is timeless; just look through history at the Jeep Cherokee, C4 Corvette, air cooled Porsche 911's, and now the Ford Focus. And what about the NSX? That was over 10 years old when Honda finally dumped it.

Please, enough with the Ford comments. This person was smart enough to buy a Honda instead. This is a Fit review. And by the way, the last person I came in contact with that owned a Focus was disgusted with it because the transmission devoured itself at about 40,000 miles, and the gas mileage wasn't very good.

"I recommend this car for people who are cool."
No "cool" person would ever drive a Honda fit. "Cool" people tend to drive higher end sport and luxury cars. "Cool" people can afford these things and don't worry about gas mileage. "Cool" people also have "cool", well paying jobs due to there "cool" personalities and skills. A job that a someone who drives a Honda fit could only dream of.

Our Civic was garbage. You should have gone with a Ford Focus. Much more reliable, better interior, transmission actually works.
