2003 Honda HR-V Vtec 1.6 Benzin from Norway

Summary:

Joyfull

Faults:

No serious problems with this car!

Changed all belts after 162.000 km...

I had to replace the drive shaft front left (162.000 km).

I had to replace wheel bearings front left (145.000 km).

I was surprised to spot rust beneath the spare wheel...

Apart from that, no rust at all so far!

General Comments:

It's sad that Honda had to stop the production of the HR-V!

I am quite pleased with this car!

It gives a bit of everything!

A low cost vehicle for demanding drivers!

Honda could continue the series with a 1.8 VTEC or 2.0 engine (diesel as well), better off road performance, ESP, cruise control etc.

2003 Honda HR-V 1.6 from Latvia

Summary:

Cool looks, nice performance, versatility

Faults:

Absolutely nothing.

General Comments:

Car feels nice on the road.

You sit high and visibility is good.

Non VTEC engine is OK, but definitely not quick.

Off road four wheel drives does it's job and gets you through piles of snow or dirt. Clutch starts burning when going gets tough.
