1994 Honda Odyssey L F22b from Australia and New Zealand
Summary:
Big repair bills and gas bills
Faults:
ABS unit complete failure.
Front brake lines split.
CV boots split.
Rear ball joint collapsed, causing the wheel to cave and bite the rim.
A/C lost gas.
Ignition failure.
Window regulator driver's side failure.
Rear diff failure.
Rear door seal leaks.
Door panels coming loose.
General Comments:
It generally starts... But forever repairs! A relative had an Odyssey, and it had been a good work horse, although I believe this one had a hard life. As time goes by, a lot of features on these cars start to fail if not treated with respect.
ABS repairs are expensive and the car became uneconomical to repair, so it was scrapped.
It's roomy, and being AWD is handy.
Bad gas consumption of around 9km/l in real conditions.
