I had a 1997 Chevy Venture which I loved. I turned it back after 3 years and leased a 2000 Venture which was not made as well as the 1997. Couldn't wait to turn it back for fear of transmission problem. I leased a 2003 Odyssey EX in Feb. and was thrilled with all aspects of it except the annoying power sliding doors. Now with 17,000 miles on it, it shifts differently each time I drive it. Sometimes it shifts smoothly with no feel of hold back, other times it goes into gear and it feels like I am driving with the brakes on. When you drive forward and then take your foot off the gas pedal, the van feels like something is holding it back. It's as if you are driving in low gear. I have an appointment with the dealer this week and was wondering if you had this occur? Is this a transmission or some electrical sensor problem? Other than that, the struts seem to be weakening already when a load is on it. Otherwise, I am very happy with the van. Thanks Mike C.

Our van has about 53,000 miles on it. I keep expecting to have something go wrong, given the reviews I've read. However, everything has been perfect since I bought it new. I have bought many Hondas over the years and have always been satisfied. I take good care of the vehicles, following the manufacturer's maintenance schedules.

I bought two Chrysler mini-vans in the past that had many problems. A/C and transmissions failed at 70,000 miles, almost like clockwork.

I have to agree with this comment I have a 03 and I to am waiting for the worst to happen, but so far it has been a good deal. It did have a bad dog smell in the van, but after my bissell it is gone.
