2002 Honda Passport EX from North America
Faults:
I just purchased a 2002 Honda Passport XE with an outstanding body and only 71,000 miles. This is why I paid 10,000 for it. Dealer sold to me as like new with no issues. Dealer was 50 miles from my home. No issues when test drove.
Two days later, I went back to pick up the vehicle, and noticed coming home, that the 6 disc changer was half working. Sometimes it would start and sometimes not. Sometimes would start, but skip. I do not have a clue what the problem is. The radio and CD work fine.
Just as I was turning into my driveway, the check engine light came on. The next day I took to AutoZone, and the check came up with 4 problems. O2 oxygen sensor, some other sensor, c... converter and radio. Next day went to the Honda dealer, and they say it is the converter and will cost 1300 to replace.
On the 4th day, as I went to work, the jerking when taking off started, and has been doing every since. It jerks only when taking off in 1st gear. Runs well on the open road, and around town after it gets into 2nd gear. I think I have been taken to the cleaners and paid double what I should have with all these issues. Can't believe all these problems have started as soon as I got the SUV. I would sell it now after 3 weeks, except I cannot because of the overall condition. Now I just wonder what I will have invested in the thing if and when I get it in good condition.
If anyone out there has any feedback on any of these issues, please contact me. Thanks.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

This car sucks... I has to do brakes all the way around, the A/C pump is whining and is 400 used from the parts store. It carbons up to easy, and now the transmission is slipping bad. The car only has 100,000 miles on it.
