You would have to wonder with all the adverse comments, why people still drive this rubbish or is it driven and owned purely because of the image?

Agree. Reminds me of Land Rover. It’s all about appearance and being cool, even though the vehicles are reprehensible that Hummer and Land Rover engineer.

First question is if it was such a bad vehicle, why did they even keep it another 110,000 miles after a new transmission. Second, do you really think GM is going to grant a class action lawsuit to all these comments who have had problems on a 15 year old vehicle?

The same reason people drive Range Rovers. The vehicles are poorly made, but hey if you look good who cares :)

Please include me in this lawsuit. I just got trapped locked inside of my 2006 H3 Hummer while the engine was starting to catch on fire. The doors lock on their own sometimes and won't unlock no matter what; it's yet another electrical glitch. I had to try all sorts of weird things until it finally unlocked. I was terrified and almost had to break the window out.
I am beyond done with this vehicle! I've had all the same issues and more that everyone else has. The engine is now completely shot at 150,000 miles due to cylinder issue. It had a new transmission at 40,000 miles. It's molded and stinky from constant leaks everywhere. Floor is always soaking wet. Leather is ruined from the leaks. Seatbelt doesn't work. Key doesn't come out of ignition. Lights don't come on when you open the door or at all. Windshield wipers and stereo stay on after turning off the car so the battery dies easily. AC doesn't work though I've spent over $1000 having it fixed. And then today nearly killing me by it locking me inside during the fire and of course the hood won't pop up anymore either so I can't even open the hood. Meeshminx@gmail.com
